The Children's Centre Foundation holds various activities throughout the year. Consider volunteering for an event, bingo or fundraiser. All ages and abilities are welcome. Students are eligible to receive volunteer hours to go toward their high school credits.

Volunteer with the Foundation
Volunteering with Children’s Centre Foundation is a great opportunity to make a lasting impression in your community.
Whether it is helping with administrative projects, assisting at one of our special events, or helping to organize a fundraiser, volunteers are at the heart of the Foundation.
Children’s Centre Foundation is currently recruiting volunteers to participate on a number of our committees including; but not limited to: community engagement, fundraising and volunteer recruitment.

Please note: Because of the confidential and sensitive nature of our work with Children’s Centre Thunder Bay, we do not have volunteer opportunities that work directly with the children and youth we support.
Volunteer with our Board of Directors
Children’s Centre Foundation Thunder Bay is a community-based, not-for-profit agency governed by a Board of Directors. The Board plays a key role in providing strategic leadership and Foundation governance on a volunteer basis.
Successful Board members are recruited based on their value-adding capacity related (but not limited) to finance, human resources, legal, planning, management and social services.
The Children’s Centre Foundation is currently seeking energetic, creative individuals who have a passion for children’s wellness to fill vacancies on our Board of Directors.
